In terms of content provided in this blog, I plan to focus mainly on everyday nutrition that can be applied to the vast majority of normal people living a normal life. I like to keep things simple and down to earth and provide easy to understand advice and information. I know from my own studies of nutritional science, that the subject itself can be quite confusing and often contradicts itself. I mean if you ask ten different nutritionists and dieticians how much protein we should be consuming, you’re likely to get ten slightly varied answers.

My aim for this blog is to hopefully simplify some of the science so that the reader can apply it to their lives and have a better understanding of nutrition in general. I also like to provide non-scientific advice on body image and our relationship with food as this is something we have all struggled with and I think it’s important to accept ourselves as we are when learning about food and diet.
